Depends on where you’re staying but Red Hook is way out of the way. But supposed to be a great burger.
Skip Minetta Tavern. Skip Keen’s.

You might want to rethink what’s on your list. There’s a dollar-fifty pizza joint on there. While it’s a great deal, it’s not a destination spot.
There are many other great places to eat, if you do some research.
Aware-Surprise-8047
You need to go to Radio Bakery in Brooklyn! There is a location in Greenpoint and one in Prospect Hill.
Chemical_One
Skip Juniors, Starbucks Reserve, 2 Bros, Fresh, and Ellen’s (unless you want to go for tourist reasons the food is not good by NY standards)
If you’re coming from somewhere with good Mexican I’d skip both the taco spots. I love Los Tacos but honestly tacos in NYC are not nearly as good as other parts of the country.

Please don’t go to the halal guys, it’s garbage. Go to Midos or something better.

Your burger list is good. Red Hook Tavern is very out of the way but if you’re going to be here for 2 weeks it’s a fun day trip to take the ferry out there. Hit up strong rope brewery, Sunny’s, and depending on how much you can eat you should hit up hometown barbecue (same owners as red hook tavern)
For Pizza, keep L’Industrie, John’s and Mama’s Too. They’re all within a 2 minute walk of each other and L’Industrie/Mama’s Too will be a cool comparison with John’s on old school/new school pizza. Be prepared to wait in long lines, but you can get takeout from all of these and walk to the Hudson River and eat them there. That’s the pro move.
Bagel list is good but I’d add Apollo bagels
For steakhouses St Anselm is my favorite in the city.
For tacos if you’re going to be in Greenpoint for radio bakery/peter pans I’d go to taqueria Ramirez but again be prepared for a line
For pastrami, if you’re at hometown barbecue on the weekends they have a phenomenal pastrami sandwich, as does Frankel’s in Greenpoint. I’d also add S&P lunch to your list
jalapenos10
230 is my least favorite rooftop bar I’ve been to. Drinks suck and it’s just a bunch of 20 year olds making TikToks. I’d skip it
zoombie_apocalypse
My god that’s a lot of food even for 2 weeks. In general I’d pare it down just to be able to appreciate the individual places more.
The bagels at Russ and Daughters are not great, but the fish is really good. I think you’re missing a babka. I like the one at Breads. And because I’m UWS, I am contractually obligated to tell you to go to Zabar’s.

No fine dining options? No korean? So many misses here

Skip Starbucks, Magnolia (already past its prime 20 years ago) and Ellen’s at the very least. Why come to New York and go to Starbucks? If you just want an artisanal coffee experience, they will do that for you at La Cabra. Unless you are absolutely resolved to get a cronut, Dominique Ansel Workshop is better than the Bakery by a mile these days. Elbow Ludlow, Hani’s, Librae, and Radio Bakery are destination worthy, and I would replace them for most of your bakery list, keeping only Peter Pan, La Cabra, and Supermoon plus Lexington for the candy shop experience and maybe add Eileen’s if you want cheesecake and the Workshop if you really want some Ansel. Plus maybe Lysee and Salswee if you want the really delicate patisserie, and Alf Bakery in Chelsea Market for wonderful croissant and a laminated baguette like you won’t find elsewhere.

I would skip red hook tavern for burger
It’s a very pepper crusted patty with cheese, so while the meat is very very good, as a burger itself it’s not what I think of a good burger bc it’s just bun, cheese, meat. Very peppery if you’re not a fan of that
nightkingscat
really narrow diversity of cuisines. I’d recommend ranging out, especially asian (korean, thai, japanese, malaysian, sichuan, indian, etc).
ahaswellgreen
Bagel – add Astoria Bagels Pizza – add Carmine’s on Graham Ave Bakery – add L’Appartement 4F
AmanFromTheWay
gotta throw Martha’s Country Bakery on there
Dunesgirl
I’d skip Nubeluz. Nice view. All I can say for it.

I’d recommend putting Rolo’s on your burger and steak list. Their double cheeseburger with bacon was one of my top 5 burgers of all time. For Italian, I enjoyed Misi and Rezdôra. Not the kind of Italian you can easily find outside of NY. Under bakeries, Lysèe was very impressive. For bars, if you can get into them, check out Superbueno, Katana Kitten, Sip and Guzzle and Martiny’s. I found that even the most popular places are possible to get into if you are waiting at the door right when they open.

Don’t waste your time at Starbucks 😅
BrooklynTCG
For bars id grab cocktails at up and up in west village. Pizza joe and pats is a must- tri pie, easy to get a reservation or walk in. Bakery peter pan in brooklyn- they also serve utopia bagels- so ham egg and cheese is bomb.

If you’re going to be at Peter Luger’s anyway, might as well try the steak.
Russ and Daughter has great smoked fish, but I thought their bagels weren’t that great.
You have things on here that are great for convenience and price but are nothing special culinarily speaking: 2 Bros, Gray’s Papaya. Halal Guys and Adel’s are also overrated. A good street corner cart gets you 95% of the way there.
Do not go to McSorleys on a weekend night.

Joes pizza is a giant tourist trap. Not worth waiting in that long ass line. If you’re going to wait in line for a pizza, I suggest Lucali’s in Brooklyn. Better yet Pizza Suprema around Madison Square Garden.
Edit: I suggest checking out Tomi Jazz.

As a New Yorker, it’s great to see these lists of places to avoid.
Los Tacos? Levain? McSorleys?

I think you can skip hamburger America and 7th street burger.
If you’re accepting pitches for Chinese, I love Breeze and Birds of a Feather in Brooklyn, Uncle Lou’s in Chinatown

The bar category could definitely use some work

Serious question: Why does every tourist post this same kind of list. Do you eat like this all the time? It’s pizza, burgers, bakeries, etc. Not a single nice restaurant on this list. I mean, these are all good place but don’t you want… you know a waiter and a cloth napkin?
Unlucky_Buyer5557
Breads bakery should be on there. Why visit a starbucks as part of a vacation?

Skip Adels unless you go at some odd hour and get lucky, the lines can get crazy. Plenty of good halal food, that dish is so simple that the extra-long waiting for cart food just doesn’t make sense. Check out this [map of reviewed carts](https://overrice.nyc/), then there are plenty of store fronts. King of Falafel and Mamoun’s are also popular and good.
