This is no where near the blossom end but is it BER? Yesterday I noticed this spot was softer but still green; today it looks like this. It feels thin but otherwise feels the same as the rest of the skin. Ive been watering daily (temps are in the upper 90s) and I use a 50% shade cloth but I’ve been removing it in the mornings and evenings hoping to get more pollinators. I also use cal+mag weekly. If it’s not BER what could this be? And am I ok to just cut it out and eat the rest?

BER is generally black and on the end. I don’t think that is BER.
Looks like it could be sun scald based on location and color. Little strange that it looks soft though
No
sun scald
Sun scalding. Mine from this morning had it, just cut around around it and enjoy rest of pepper.
Sun scald
Agree with sun scald, it appears where the sun hits the pepper (whereas BER is closer to the blossom end)
The rest of the pepper should be fine
Looks like sun scald. BER turns black almost immediately in my experience.
