Always wanted to add a Big Green Egg to my backyard kitchen setup. I have a Blackstone, a Traeger, and an Ooni pizza oven, but I kept hesitating because of the price.
Well… here we are 😄 Found this one on OfferUp for $200! Gave it a full refresh: cleaned everything, changed the banding, added a new thermometer, swapped in a new grill grate, gave the nest and shelves some love with sanding, stain, and black paint (got both for $50), and picked up a new cover. I’m beyond happy with how it turned out.
Finally got my charcoal and wood setup, and the Egg has always been the dream. Can’t wait to fire it up this weekend and see what it can do!
