    This is amazing!!!  I wish I could make a cake this cool for my daughter, she’s 10 and wants to be a paleontologist.  My cakes never turn out pretty but they taste good at least.  Yours looks awesome, way better than the inspo pic!

    That is so cute! I thought yours was the ‘other’ baker’s cake at first and I thought ‘if this is the inspo, the actual might even be cuter’, and well, I was right – yours is cuter! I love how your colors came out. The other one, while also cute, is also a little ‘cookie cutter’ (or however that terminology translates to cake decoration, LOL!). You did good!

    This is not a fail, it’s a darling cake baked with great love! I think sometimes we see all these professional perfect looking bakes online and consider our projects a failure because we can’t match professional bakers who are only showing photos of their best work.

    I get that it’s not what you were aiming for but I like yours a lot better than the inspiration cake. It’s more fun, it looks more appetizing, and it looks like a lot more love went into it.

    The inspiration is fine, but yours is excellent.
