Pancakes are the perfect breakfast idea when it comes to whipping up breakfast milk. So, in this recipe, I’m going to be showing you how to make pumpkin pancakes, which are going to turn out soft, fluffy, flavorful because they’re going to have some secret spices and they’re going to be very filling once you dig in. The secret to making perfect pancakes is making sure that your ingredients are all fresh, especially the kit. You’re going to need half a cup of pumpkin puree for this recipe. So, if you don’t have some canned pumpkin puree, you can boil some pumpkin and then mash to get your puree. Into your mixing bowl, you’re going to be adding in the wet ingredients. And I’m going to start off with an egg. Add in 1 cup of milk, [Music] your pumpkin puree, and 1 tbsp of cooking oil. Use a spatula. Mix in the wet ingredients until fully combined. Add in a third cup of sugar. [Music] Adding in an egg is going to bind the ingredients together and also it’s going to make the pancakes very fluffy. The sugar is going to add in sweetness. So don’t skip. So once the ingredients are fully combined, I’m going to be adding in the fry. So, I’m going to pick a se, add in my flour, half a teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Whisk in the dry ingredients. Use your spatula and mix in the dry ingredients and wait until fully combined. You can see the butter has a very nice lovely yellow color from the pumpkin puree. So this is how your butter should be looking. Avoid over mixing because the pancakes are going to turn out. And once done mixing, it’s time to cook our pancakes. So, we’re going to place a non-stick pan over medium flame. Wait for around 30 seconds so that the pan can get hot while you add in half a teaspoon of cooking oil. Because we added in a tablespoon of cooking oil to our butter, we can skip the cooking oil on the pan because because we’re using a nonstick pan, but I want a very lovely crispy edge on the pancakes. That’s the reason I’m adding in some cooking oil. You can also use a kitchen brush to brush the cooking oil on the pan or even use some baking spray which is more easier. I’m going to be using half a cup to scoop off my butter into the pan. After adding in your butter, you’re going to wait for around 30 seconds to a minute. And as the pancake is cooking, you’re going to catch a very nice aroma and also the edges are going to crispen up. If you notice that your pan is too hot, just reduce the flames to medium low so that your pancakes can slowly cook. Because we added in some baking powder, the pancakes are going to turn out very fluffy. So, I’m going to check on my pancake. If you notice some bubbling on top of the pancake, it’s time to flip. So, use a spatula. Flip. Gorgeous. Just look at this. This is the crispy edge I’m talking about. So, you’re going to cook for another 30 seconds to a minute. And you can see how tall the pancake is looking. Once your pancake is ready, you’re going to transfer to a plate and add in your next round. You can see how easy and simple it is to make some very delicious soft, fluffy pumpkin and eggs at the comfort of your home. All you need is a few ingredients which are pantry staple. I’m going to add in a little bit more cooking oil so that the other side can cook. After 45 seconds, I’m going to check on my pancake and it’s ready. Transfer to the rest and then I’m going to finish up making the rest of the pancakes, which is going to take around 10 to 15 minutes at most. So, if you have a pancake griddle, it’s going to take around 5 minutes to make your pancakes, which is going to be easy peasy. [Music] [Music] This is how my pancakes have turned out. And as you can see, they’re looking gorgeous. They’re soft, fluffy, filled with a very nice pumpkin taste, and they’re super delicious. So, you can enjoy the pancakes with a cup of tea, coffee, or juice, and every bite is going to be amazing as always.
