Just note that the way the top lip works on the WSM causes water to run down the dome and pool at the bottom of the ashpit (until it overflows the dampers). Unlike a kettle where water runs off the outside.
I’d be trying to cover that with anything I could find.
Hell yea Rain or shine! Once I did ribs while the police had an armed standoff in the next backyard over. I didn’t know they were there till the next day but I was totally in the crossfire. But the ribs come off when they need co come off.

Smoking in the storm is fun look out for lightning. It can be attracted by heat. I still smoke in the rain.

How often do u have to add fuel? Have a ok joe but about to have a kid and thinking of something I dont have to babysit and add fuel every 30 mins. But not ready to switch to pellet. Looked great!!!

Love that southern summer rain!! Put up the EZ up and staked it down because it went from sunny to pouring… soon as we got it staked, went right back to sunny again. At least I have some shade now when I venture out there?

I just put a canopy tent up if it’s raining.
Get yourself an ez up canopy with buckets/blocks
