I asked this in brooklyn group so far no luck so asking here.

Hi i want to ask anyone who been to the asian super market fei long market near brooklyn 8ave chinatown, remember there was a store near outside the main entrance(closed now that used to lesd to food court) that used to sell pan fried dumpling for very cheap. Foregt the dmall store name. The pan fried dumpling store is not inside the food court. It was a very small store outside near the main entrance The dumpling was good but it was the small packaged plastic cups with the darkish sauce that I was obesessed with. It was a homemade sauce they made for the dumpling i think and it tasted so amazing. But years ago they closed sadly, and whenever i go to any pan fried dumpling place near chinatown the sauce they use is just generic and never the same taste I was looking for. I want to ask if anybody know any pan fried dumpling place that has that sauce or perhaps know what that sauce is if it has a actual name or if you can buy it or make at home. Sorry if this kind of vague, just shooting my shot. Thank you!

The darkish sauce was kind of thin, and i think there was very tiny particles of something in the sauce. So they may have chopped/blended something when making the sauce. There was a kind of kick or maybe spice taste, though i dont remeber it being spicy, im not sure its been so long. Maybe a little sweet and sour?? I remember it being a very flavorful sauce. Not just purely soy sauce or dark vinager.

This was what the resturant looked like. It was so small the store.
