Hey guys just wanted to share some pictures of my food-centered trip last weekend. Here's how I ranked them on Beli

10/10 Semma (Michelin Star South Indian) Absolutely blew me away. I’ve had South Indian food all my life but to see the creative presentations, the spicy aromatic flavors, and the unapologetic heritage on full display was amazing. The dosa, lobster, and passion fruit dessert is a must have.

10/10 Cosme (fine dining Mexican) I know this place has its haters but I really thought the duck carnitas and corn husk meringue was well done. It’s also easy to get a reservation and a great place for friends. It is very expensive, so I’d only recommend for large gatherings or a special occasion

9.9/10 Bungalow (fine dining North Indian) Again, this place has its haters, but even though it was a pain to get a res, the food, presentation, service, and atmosphere was sublime. I was also able to meet the famous chef Vikas Khanna.

9.8/10 Win Son (East Asian) As someone who is not the biggest fan of East Asian food but this place was really good. Other than the scallion pancakes which were a bit too salty for me, the wontons, scallion noodles, and dessert were all top notch. Make sure to add the chili oil to the sesame noodles, makes a huge difference.

9.4/10 Le’Industrie Pizza West Village, really good pizza but super long line, took me about an hour to get food. They were able to customize my slice to not include bacon since I don’t eat bacon.

9.1/10 Tompkins Square Bagels, I had the best egg and cheese bagel of my life. No line, great bagel texture, the cheese pull was to die for.

9.0/10 Oxomoco (Michelin Star Mexican casual dining) a bit underwhelming for me but still solid. The tuna tostada, their signature dish, was a bit too soy forward for me and the mushroom tacos were really good but also very messy

8.7/10 Trinciti Roti Shop (Trini food) the double was incredible, the bake and saltfish was very food, the phoulorie was bland imo

8.7/10 Forma Pasta Factory (Italian) amazing pasta and very affordable. I thought the desserts we got (tiramisu and lemon bars, which are two of my favorite desserts) were alright and nothing to write home about

8.7/10 Birria LES Chelsea (Mexican) not much to say, solid food affordable and fast. Really happy there was a place that served non red meat birria

8.0/10 Abuqir (Egyptian seafood), not the biggest fan. Still good but I think my palate is not yet accustomed to this cuisine, but if you’re a fan, then you’ll love this place.
