First of all, chopping a live lobster in half is tougher than I thought… We can't eat dairy from cows either so I used goat cheese mozarella and goat butter. Everything came out great and she loved it.
I had always wanted try lobster cooked in this way and according to my wife, it was the best lobster she ever had. After they were cut in half, I seasoned them with lemon pepper salt, and boy was it wild to watch how the live muscle tissue reacted. 10/10 would murder 2 more of these bad boys again.
I brushed goat butter on them then par cooked them in the oven for about 10 minutes before putting the goat cheese on, another 3-4 minutes on high heat to melt the cheese and they were finished with a sprinkle of chives.
Served with lemon and melted butter on a bed of the epstein files.

That sure doesn’t look alive to me!
Goat cheese didn’t overpower it?
I haven’t done cheese on lobster yet but from what I hear it’s really good. It’s quite normal in south east Asia.

Theres a method of cutting the head first to make it slightly more “humane” and probs easier to cut the rest in half too. Might feel a little less murder-y
Looks plenty dead to me.
That can’t be live.
I think people aren’t quite understanding that by saying “live” lobster, I meant that they were alive just before taking this photo. I think it’s inhumane to just toss living creatures into boiling water so I chopped the live lobsters in half, then cooked and ate them.
FANTASTIC husband ❣️♥️
I’m lucky to get a fish stick lol
Looks good and completely agree tossing a live lobster into a pot is awful. Definitely a pet peeve along with people who cook it with the rubber bands on the claws.
Pretty sure that was cooked. Y’all didn’t eat live anything.
