From scratch strawberry cake for my moms birthday 🍓

The cake itself turned out a little flatter/dense than I thought it would but it paired beautifully with my homemade strawberry swirl icecream! Im still struggling with piping and it was so warm that I had a hard time keeping the frosting from melting but it turned out okay I think!

    I’ve made this one too!! Interestingly has the same issue with the density as you described but that icing is SO GOOD.

    That is my favorite fking cake ever. Though I usually mess up on when to put the sugar in. The frosting tastes like strawberry ice cream!
