Been wanting a Weber Kettle and a Green Egg for awhile. Now I finally got one that does both.

I hate this sub some days. Have an angry upvote.

  2. Happy for you or whatever. Not jealous at all, I hope you step on a Lego 3 times a day at random in perpetuity.

Jokes aside, enjoy! Post some videos/pics of the art she produces

How does something like this compare to a ceramic kamado style grill for heat retention/smoking

  4. Thanks to all the users for posting up the info. I’m excited to smoke some briskets

My Costco didn’t even carry these. Good for you though…just a little jealous.

It’s close to a kamado style grill, but it’s not ceramic. I love my kettle, the kamado is just a special special cooker.

How much are these normally in the US? In Australia they’re close to $3,000AUD/$2,000USD which is absolutely taking the piss.

If you got the money and want a toy go for it I would but if not 150 wolly bully will do the trick

Someone got a floor model yesterday for $500 yesterday. Lol. I’m never so lucky. Grill on!

I grabbed one last weekend in STL/St Peters MO for $600.00. It was the last and was the floor model. I think I have seen same get this for $500.00. Definitely different low prices depending on the store.

In just a week I can say this might be the best all around grill/smoker option Weber offers. After using a 22”, 26” and WSM I think this could be the one cooker that can do everything extremely well with the 2 levels for charcoal placement and also the diffuser option for full 24” grill smoking. Good responsiveness to vent adjustments up and down in temp. You can’t bring a ceramic down in temp this fast. I would not hesitate at the 799.00 price either. Originally $1099.00 price from Costco and $1399.00 list from Weber.

Get an 18” round x 1 or 2” deep drip pan and spacers to keep it spaced on top of the diffuser for a water pan or foil line as a drip pan.

    Nice!

Hey I noticed that this one (I got it too) appears to be exactly the same except that it doesn’t say “Summit” anywhere on it.

    Any thoughts on that?
