How, on God’s green Earth has it taken me 41 years to try this. Wings of Fire from bb.q and I am SOLD. Thirty minutes from me and they were still piping hot and crunchy when they arrived. I am hooked.

Thank you u/ohheyhowsitgoin for the flavor recommendation.

Korean wings rock, they take often failed pizza shop style of bready wings and run to the max with it and it works super well

I was in love with southern fried chicken back in 2014 and never knew about Korean fried chicken until one of my really good friends opened his Korean restaurant, and the first bite I had, I’ve been in love with it since. I’m glad you discovered it too. Its simply the best.

If you ever go to South Korea to a fried chicken place, a 3 out 5 chilils on the menu isn’t equivalent to what an American 3 out of 5 would be. Their 1 chilli isnt plain its about what medium would be at bee dubs. My first time eating at two owt I got the 3 hotness basket amd I was crying like Nancy Kerrigan and the only thing that made the pain go away was 4 or 5 pineapple sojus which made me want to eat more chicken. It’s a vicious cycle. Also, bring your own toilet paper with you in Korea.

Also give Bon Chon a shot. They’re very crispy as well

  6. Korean double fried wings are possibly the best wings I’ve had. I’ve never seen a fluffier, crispier wing in my life. Absolutely divine texture and flavor. I got them from some place in Flushings Queens NYC. They were insanely good. Both the hot and the garlic ginger soy or whatever. Both flavors were perfection.

Have one of these places around the corner from me here in central Florida, gotta try it now!

    Love Korean Fried Chicken.

Hate bb.q cause they are assholes when it comes to wanting to make your order as two different sauces.

The trick with Korean fried chicken is high/pure starch dredge. Also letting the wings sit in the dredge makes a big big difference too. You can double fry or single fry to your preference but it’ll always be a glass shattering crunch

Soy Garlic is their best sauce and I’m a pepper head.

Lol glad you’ve finally tried them. Now go out and discover other cuisines and continue to have your mind blown.
