It's mayo and mustard plus a random mix of seasonings. This time I threw on some italian seasoning, some flavor bomb burger seasoning and a little black pepper. I eat this probably 4 or 5 times a week.

Couldn’t you have added some ham or turkey or cheese..would’ve taken an extra 2 seconds

  2. Exciting-Industry456

Are you okay? 4-5 times a week??

And I thought I knew what a struggle meal was.

    this is just… damn.

I used to do something similar as a child. Bread, yellow mustard, shit tons of black pepper, close it up and enjoy. I got roasted for it for years but my mom always happily made it for me – happy to provide a food I liked. I was such a picky eater as a child.

Helmands mayo, salt and pepper was my favourite

  6. maggiemayfish

I think I would genuinely just rather have bread and butter

My sibling in christ, I will buy you a pizza

  8. This has salt soup and sugar water for dessert vibes.

That’s very shitty man. Though we used to get ketchup sandwiches at this burger kiosk growing up, and I’ll eat straight seasoned salt or garlic salt out of my hand sometimes. I could get behind this.

I mean, bread with seasoning isn’t that awful. But as a meal 4-5 times a week 😭

When we used to annoy mum about what’s for dinner, she’d say ‘fuck all on toast’.. this is actually worse somehow

  12. Emotional_Remove_755

This is what my grandmother would refer to as a wish sandwich when we’d say we were hungry “put two slices of bread together and wish there was somethin in between”

This reminds me of a restaurant I worked at growing up when they started to charge us for food I’d bypass that and not order anything but make a hamburger bun with mustard ketchup and extra extra pickles. No tickets, no grill cooks, just yumm.

The tism is strong with this one.

  15. what actively stops you from putting any actual nutrition in this tho??? seriously even one piece of tofu would elevate this into an actual meal, i don’t mean to sound degrading here; it’s just that at it’s current state this is some sort of vitamin deficiency disguised as a sandwich.

  16. Growing up my brother would just do mustard and bread. He probably still does lol

  17. Beneficial-Sell4117

    This is utterly ridiculous 😭😭

  18. sharcophagus

Mix it with a can of tuna or chicken, add a cheeky leaf of lettuce, and you got yourself a banger

Having it once or twice to finish off what’s left in the fridge/pantry? Fine.

Having this 4-5 times a week? A sign of mental illness.

  20. Undecided_Username_

4-5 times a week is a mental issue

  21. One of the first things here ive genuinely grimaced at

  22. TheBakedGod

GOB’s mustard and parmesan snack looks better than this

  23. yamxiety

Why not just toast the bread and add some butter or something?? Or eat it plain??

  24. Ashangu

You could take 2 extra seconds and throw some ham and cheese on it. you’ve already put 5 minutes of work and pulled everything out for this, you might as well take the 2 extra steps.

  25. TheDiscomfort

My little brother used to make condiment sandwiches, covered in spices just like this. He called them Todd Burgers. Disgusting.

I’m honestly starting to believe that most of the things that get posted here aren’t actually being eaten by the person who posted them, that they just post them to karma farm for whatever reason. Even on a microscopic budget, here are so many things you make for lunch, instead of whatever the fuck this is, that without proof of them actually eating it, I’m calling bullshit.

  27. Tastem_Goode

You do realize that’s actually more work than just putting some peanut butter between the two slices of bread right?

  28. voteblue18

I’d rather just eat buttered toast.

  29. StrangerKatchoo

OP, are you ok? I’m honestly curious. This is the meal of someone with Major Depressive Disorder, or something along those lines. I say this from personal experience. If you can’t motivate yourself to make a decent dinner the majority of the week, you should check in with a professional. Please take care of yourself. I’m just an internet stranger, but I care.

I don’t even find this as weird as everyone else. My lazy snack is sometimes bread and butter. This might be at least equally unsatifying.
