USA/CANADA – Krispy Kreme is whisking fans away on a sweet summer escape with the launch of its ‘Passport to Italy’ doughnut collection, inspired by three iconic Italian desserts.
Available for a limited time at participating shops across the U.S. and Canada, the new lineup invites customers to indulge in the flavors of tiramisu, cannoli, and Limone, no passport required.
The collection features three handcrafted doughnuts, each reimagining a beloved Italian classic, including:
Cannoli Inspired Doughnut: An unglazed ring doughnut half-dipped in chocolate icing and cookie crunch, dusted with powdered sugar, and topped with a dollop of cannoli-flavored buttercream. It’s a creamy, crunchy homage to Sicily’s famous pastry.
Limone Delight Doughnut: This citrusy creation features an unglazed shell filled with lemon delight-flavored Kreme™, dipped in zesty lemon icing, and finished with candied lemon. It channels the bright, refreshing flavors of the Amalfi Coast.
Tiramisu Inspired Doughnut: A decadent shell doughnut filled with tiramisu-flavored Kreme™, topped with sweet creme buttercream, and dusted with cocoa powder. It’s a nod to the classic Italian “pick-me-up” dessert.
“This summer, Krispy Kreme is transporting you to Italy’s sweet life – no passport required,” said Alison Holder, Chief Brand and Product Officer.
“There’s a taste of Italy’s sweetest dessert traditions in every bite of our Passport to Italy doughnuts, from tiramisu to cannoli to lemon … dipped, dusted and drizzled to perfection”.
The doughnuts are available individually or by the dozen, in-shop and via Krispy Kreme’s app and website for pickup or delivery. Fans are encouraged to share their sweet moments on social media.
The Passport to Italy collection is available from July 29 through August 18, 2025, while supplies last.
Krispy Kreme has confirmed that the promotion will not be offered in Puerto Rico, and availability may vary by location.
With this launch, Krispy Kreme continues its tradition of global flavor exploration, following previous themed releases like the French-inspired collection during the Paris Olympics.
The Italian lineup promises to be a delicious detour for doughnut lovers craving a taste of la dolce vita.
