Honey burns so unless he washed it off it’s bad idea

We’re going to find you and make you cook it for us if you don’t tell us exactly how/why you did this and how good it was

It looks pretty undevoured in this pic that apparently shouldn’t exist.

Ive only heard of this but ill reply with a grain of salt. I think the enzymes in super legit honey will work to break down connective tissues. Ive heard it can turn even tough cuts into mouth melters. I suppose you can mostly wash the honey off and probably not get too much sweetness. Could help with some nice crust, too.

God dammit OP, suck the honey off your fingers and respond

  13. Honey contains trace amounts of proteases and is acidic. To a small degree it can “tenderize” or soften meat. I’ve done it with chicken before, but it was soft as could be from the sous vide anyways. I’ve never tried no honey vs honey side by side to see if it actually makes a difference.

This sounds like some dumb TikTok rage bait shit.

Something with the amylase breaking down proteins in the meat.

Onions and pineapple come to mind as well.

That’s weird you put your meat in honey.
