My mini marzanos are the first to ripen, and I have been waiting ever so patiently. I can tell you these tiny ones have a lovely fragrance and sweet flavor. When I first cut into one, my nose just went "ahhhhh….summer". Good with something like this and salads. Pictured is them with feta, basil, olive oil, homemade multigrain bread (toasted), freshly cracked pepper and maldon salt. NOM!!! I am seeing a few of my reisetomates starting to turn, so we will see what happens next. The rain and cool weather here in the Netherlands continues…sigh.
