Before and after pic of the fire pot I got on Amazon. Was easier than I thought. I was worried that the screws were going to sheer off. This unit is about 6 years old.

    Traeger on!

Nice. I’ve replaced the pot twice in the almost 20 years I’ve owned my Lil Tex. Easy peasy.

  3. Just did mine a week, week and a half ago. Was really easy in case people were on the fence about it. 4 screws on the plate and a single screw holding the heating element in place on the bottom of the cylinder.

Was it easy to replace? I’m not a handy guy but I can follow instructions well haha

How often should this be replaced? I don’t want to wait till it’s Swiss cheese but not replacing every 6 months either. I use my Traeger 1-2 times per week and sometimes more in the summer months
