That skin/fat layer looks sensational. A hair more cooked than I like but great work!!

depends how you like it/what you aimed for. My wife only eats leather because she’s afraid of germs (that’s not rational, no need to convince me). She would request it to be cooked again and I would cover my face in shame. Personally I could have it slightly less cooked but that looks awesome and I would absolutely not complain, looks delicious.

The es good skin, a little over cooker. Can be cooked on the rare side like beef

I had people go crazy on me when I posted my duck because it had pink and they thought it was chicken 🙄

The skin look great. But hard to tell if it is overcook or not, the one i buy are more on the red meat side than pink. Look juicy, i am sure it was delicious, especially with a nice sauce, like a port or spice and whiskey one.

Thank yall! Definitely was aiming for more medium rare but I’ll know for next time

  7. Can you please guide me on how you cooked it. How did you get the skin so nice

My son said “Duck is like a cross between chicken and gum”

70/30 method. Cook 70% on skin side and 30% on the other, gets skin nice and crunchy

A little over for my liking, but still good I’m sure.

In my experience duck is good at med rare up though medium so it’s a preference thing. I would personally eat it more red but some people would say what you have is their preference

Too well done for my taste but the skin looks great.

You’ve already gotten the community’s perspective on the cook. I must know though, what’re you gonna do with that? (Besides eat it).

Hoisin sauce and Chinese pancakes is a great dish. There are tons of recipes available.

Keep the fat and cook fries with it.
