Turkish Revani
Syrup:
100ml- water
100gm- Sugar
2- Lemon slice
Heat water & Sugar until boils.
Add lemon slice & allow it to cool.
Cake:
1/2 cup- Semolina
1/2 cup Maida
50gm- Melted butter
1/4 cup- Sugar
1/2+1/4 – B.P
2no – egg
1/4 cup- Yogurt
1tbsp- orange zest
Method:
Whip egg & Sugar until double volume.
Fold maida B.P & Semolina along with milk.
Fold yogurt & orange zest into the batter.
Now pour in mould & bake at 160°C for 30-35 minutes.
When hot slice into even square.
Pour the cooled Sugar syrup on top of the Revani.
Rest for 4 hours.
Now serve with dried fruits.
