When I was an expo the food runners were mine (until they officially started server training if they were being promoted to server). It was my responsibility if they fucked up, it was my responsibility to train them, it was my responsibility to remind them to chug water whenever there was time, and it was my responsibility to put the fear of God into servers who disrespected or took advantage of them.
