I used to frequent Rubin’s Red Hot in Sherman Oaks back in the day and get their delicious Chicago dog and fresh cut fries with cheddar sauce. Is there anywhere in the Valley with fries like the these? I just went to Chicago and ate the same exact fries at Al’s #1 Italian Beef and it really brought me back!! Rubin’s!! I wish it still existed and always think of it when I pass by Ventura/Sepulveda. I think some may mention Daglas in Reseda/Canoga Park. I personally think nothing’s better than fresh cut Islands fries with ranch.
