Looking for a nice red to go with hot smoked salmon. I think the Rizzardi may be too fruity. Any thoughts or other suggestions?

    Talking about reds, you should avoid bold and tannic wines. Light grenaches, pinots and so should work. Anyway, the perfect pairing I believe it would be oaky white, as the molecules found in the oak are the same as the smoked ones of the fish
