Probably sone of the best brisket Ive had since moving here. They give you the option of sliced vs chopped and if you want more lean or marbled. And the sides were awesome!

  1. Damn that’s a good price too for that. Looks great! I think people forget about all the extra stuff not on a plate that goes into food when they react to pricing. That looks like a solid plate especially at 20ish bucks including a drink

The brisket looks really dry and I can see chunks of fat that haven’t been rendered. If you enjoyed it though 🤷🏼‍♂️

407! Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Great range next door as well.

2 sides and probably 1.2-1.5lbs of meat for 22 bucks shit im in.

Howdy, I went to the Dallas Q BBQ Festival a few years back and 407 was there. I definitely remember them being one of the better places at the festival. I might need to make a trip out to Argyle…

Best bbq I’ve had was there. Was going to end up living in fort worth/Dallas area or Louisiana and went a little ways out to see what it was like. Really good place

Welcome to the area! 407 ain’t bad but you have a lot of great stuff to explore here in DFW! My wife and I like to try different places and always order the same 2 meats to compare them all! Our current personal favorite combo of good BBQ and vibe is Ten50 BBQ in Richardson!

  8. Considering the fact that a typical combo meal at a burger chain costs $12, this ain’t bad. Looks pretty darn good.

Always wanted to try them, but their owners are trumpets and I’m not supporting their business.

  10. I live not too far from there and its incredible. It’s really popular with the locals, but IMO it hasn’t gotten the statewide attention it deserves.

Was the brisket dry? Because that looks mega dry and chewy

  12. for $20 I’d go there far too often

although unfortunately I need to make it myself, am European and no BBQ places around me

I am going to have to be the debbie downer of the group. That is what 6 oz of brisket, 2 store brand rolls and 0.50 cents of beans and potato salad? for $22?? Guys this isn’t normal.

Good price for the amount of brisket. It does look bit dry tho. And I need pickled onions haha
