The Calici di Stelle evenings kick off today across Italy: during the summer holidays, the wineries of the Movimento Turismo del Vino (Wine Tourism Movement) and numerous municipal administrations are organizing outdoor parties dedicated to two of Italy’s greatest excellences: Italian wines and the art of AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) pizza makers. This wine journey combines the secrets and traditions of the queen of pizza doughs with the stories of producers from across the country. Cooking demonstrations, themed dinners, and pizza and wine pairings developed in collaboration with MTV wineries demonstrate how pizza is a perfect match for many great Italian wines.
A program of activities designed to entertain and engage all visitors: from wine experts to novices, as well as international tourists, families passionate about local traditions, and young people seeking new opportunities for fun and well-being. A wide variety of events, including varied dates, allow for wine tourism both near and far from home.

That’s why we’ve put together a calendar of unmissable events, different in each region and representative of each unique reality. Everyone is welcome, from those on vacation away from home to those staying in the city but wanting to spend a wonderful evening in the wine regions, which, fortunately, are everywhere in Italy. Calici di Stelle 2025 is the perfect opportunity to taste pizza made by AVPN pizza makers, whose art is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with great Italian wines, discovering the pleasure of perfect pairings.”

Calici di Stelle 2025 also marks the beginning of the collaboration between the Movement and the Italian Amateur Astronomers’ Union, the leading organization for astronomy enthusiasts with over 60 local delegations active throughout the country.
From aperitifs on the beach to picnics in the mountains and dinners among the vines, Calici di Stelle will be an opportunity to sample the creations of master pizza makers at pizza-and-wine themed dinners, as well as learn about the locally sourced products of local wineries and producers. There will also be live concerts, DJ sets among the vines, jazz performances, craft markets, and games for the whole family, such as treasure hunts and archery tournaments. Among other initiatives, the wineries organize meditative sunset walks, photo safaris, virtual reality experiences, magic shows for children, and many other opportunities to have fun and immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of each region.
