Chicago, IL – Caputo Cheese, the leading manufacturer of award-winning Fresh Mozzarella and Hard Italian cheeses, is honored to be recognized with multiple awards at the prestigious American Cheese Society (ACS) Awards. In the highly competitive Italian Type Category, Caputo earned first place for its Stracciatella and Mini Nodini and second place for both its Bocconcini and classic Nodini.

In first place: Stracciatella, the filling in Burrata, is delicate strands of Fresh Mozzarella bathed in rich cream. Mini Nodini are Fresh Mozzarella hand-tied into petite knots, that offer a tender bite and a clean, milky flavor. 

In second place: Bocconcini are small, smooth Fresh Mozzarella balls with a soft texture and light flavor. Nodini are larger, full-sized hand-knotted mozzarella that bring a satisfying chew and fresh dairy finish to any dish.
