Damn I love this combo!! You’re making me wanna crack a bottle with some Double Doubles this weekend. Three Valleys is great I’d prolly go for East Bench, I think it’s the dollar for dollar best Zin Ridge makes and the most food friendly. Also one of the few they don’t Acidulate.

i dont eat meat, but i have found that very fatty foods (eg ice cream) changes the perception of wine.
What is the correct wine pairing for greasy burgers?

This is what I like seeing. If I’m cracking open a bottle at the end of the night, I don’t care what pairs well with a charcuterie board. I want to know what pairs well with Wendy’s or Kit-Kats. You know, stuff I’ll actually be eating at 11:30.

“I found the ‘61 Cheval Blanc to go quite well, but this looks like it works just fine too”

  8. Can’t tell you how many times I have duplicated what you’ve done in this beautiful photo, only with a Turley Zin. But with the addition of animal fries, of course!

Yep – that’s a good choice, blended grapes and a nice burger!

Ridge is some of my favorite. They make an amazing Zinfandel
