-40 grams old fashioned rolled oats
-240 ml unsweetened almond milk (or whatever you prefer)
-pinch salt
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
-75 grams/approximately 1/2 of a honeycrisp apple, chopped however you want
-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-10 grams light brown sugar
-7 grams/1/2 tablespoon earth balance vegan butter
-10 grams toasted walnuts
-10 grams chia seeds (not pictured here, this was my partners bowl & he doesnt like chia seeds, i also drizzled extra walnuts and agave on top of his bc he's not counting calories/trying to gain weight)
-bring the plantmilk to a boil, add oats and reduce to medium heat, add salt and vanilla
-once the oats are 3/4 of the way cooked, add the apples and cinnamon and cook for 2-4 minutes
add the brown sugar and butter and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium-low heat
-add the walnuts and chia seeds and cook for another few minutes until it's your desired consistency
-serve and enjoy!
