I don’t think you should be charged for items that are required to provide the product. What is the alternative? Have your pizza glide in mid air to your hands? Next there will be a cup fee to order a fountain soda.

Does the place offer dine in? If so I guess I would not care, if a get it to go or or delivery . If it is delivery only then fuck that place. That charge for a box does feel a bit high though.

Every time I order pizza I’m always bitching about how it used to be a free delivery with your pizza and not only that they’d give you a free 2 L and then salad with your pizza.
Now I’m always bitchin about the delivery fee BUT WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? THE BOX!? Oh These people are tripping and are going to go out of business with that kind of greed.

Hey I’ve been to this place.
Local mom and pop operation. It’s pretty solid. The quality of the ingredients alone is worth the extra money.
They also do a pizza buffet, but it’s lower quality.

Almost every single pizza place includes the price of the box in the pizza itself. I’m convinced they have and are just adding that extra cost for the hell of it

People get annoyed by this stuff, and i understand that.
But really what they’re doing is only charging takeout customers for the cost of the box, rather than just raising the menu price. The alternative is everyone paying for it whether you’re getting it or not.
Ironically, it would clearly have been a better choice to charge everyone more, as people will see this and react. People demand transparency, but usually are happier without it.
