Hi everyone! My name is Janice! Thanks for stopping by my channel. 2 eggs. A pinch of salt. A pinch of pepper. Mix well. I’m just using a whisk. Today we’re making a super tasty dish using simple, everyday ingredients. From the egg mixture, scoop out 4 tablespoons — we’ll need them later. 1.1 lb ground chicken (500 g). Add the egg mixture to the ground chicken. 2 cloves of garlic. Grate finely. Friends, let’s get to know each other better! Which country, state, or city are you watching my videos from? Please write it in the comments. I love looking at pictures of your cities. Thanks to your comments, I’ve discovered so many beautiful new places. Add the garlic to the ground chicken. 1 red onion. Cut in half. Grate one half on a coarse grater. We’ll use the other half later. Let’s talk about red onions! They’re not just vibrant and pretty, but also sweeter than regular onions. They’re perfect for salads, pickles, and especially great in ground meat — adding a hint of sweetness and a richer flavor! Add the grated onion to the ground chicken. 1 bunch of cilantro. Chop finely. I love fresh herbs — especially parsley and cilantro. Today, let’s talk about cilantro! It has a bright, refreshing flavor that pairs perfectly with meat, fish, and spicy dishes. It’s a staple in Mexican, Indian, and Thai cuisines. Plus, it’s packed with antioxidants and essential oils! Add the cilantro to the ground chicken. 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs. A pinch of salt. A pinch of pepper. Mix everything well. I just use my hands — and I recommend you do the same. That way you’ll feel the texture of the meat better. While I’m mixing the ground meat, I have to say — this is one of my favorite steps. It’s when all the flavors really start to come together! Now take a spoon and shape large round meatballs. I made 4 big ones from this amount. If you haven’t tried cooking with ground chicken yet, I highly recommend it! It’s tender, light, and really soaks up the flavors of spices and veggies. Perfect for patties, meatballs, fillings, or casseroles. Plus, it’s leaner than ground beef or pork and easier to digest! Prepare a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Place the meatballs on the tray, leaving space between them. 4–5 large potatoes. Cut into small pieces. Some people think potatoes are unhealthy, but that’s not really true. They’re full of fiber, potassium, vitamin C, and B vitamins. When you boil or bake them instead of frying, they become a great source of energy without the extra fat. Potatoes support heart health and help balance blood sugar. And don’t skip the skin — that’s where most of the nutrients are! Get a pot ready. Add the potatoes. Pour in water. Put the pot on the stove. Add a little salt. Stir well. 1 white onion. Chop finely. White onions aren’t just a base for tons of recipes — they’re also super healthy. They’re packed with vitamin C, flavonoids, and sulfur compounds that support immunity and heart health. Raw, they’re sharper than red onions, but when cooked, they turn mild and sweet. And here’s a fun fact: onions have been used in folk medicine for thousands of years — from treating colds to soothing insect bites! Heat a skillet. Add some butter. Add the chopped onion. Stir well and fry until golden brown. Sweet friends, I just want to say a big heartfelt thank you for supporting my channel and leaving such kind comments! I read each and every one of them, even if I don’t always manage to reply. I’m so grateful to you all! 2 garlic cloves. Chop finely. Friends, I hope you’re not tired yet of hearing useful tips about vegetables! I truly believe it’s important to get essential nutrients primarily from food. Garlic is a real natural health booster. It helps strengthen your immune system, supports heart health, lowers cholesterol levels, and even fights inflammation. On top of that, garlic is packed with antioxidants that protect our cells from damage. Add it to your dishes – it’s not only healthy but also gives any meal an amazing flavor and aroma! Add the garlic to the onion. Stir and fry everything together until golden brown. 1 carrot. Grate on a coarse grater. Did you know that carrots are one of the healthiest and most affordable vegetables out there? They’re packed with beta-carotene, which your body converts into vitamin A – essential for healthy eyes and skin. Carrots also support your immune system and help slow down aging thanks to their antioxidants. They’re easy to add to your diet – in salads, soups, or just as a raw snack. Healthy and delicious! Add the carrot. Stir and fry everything together. 1 bell pepper. Chop finely. I know not everyone loves bell peppers, but they really deserve some special attention! This veggie is one of the richest sources of vitamin C – it actually has more than oranges. Bell peppers boost your immune system, improve skin health, and help your body recover faster. Plus, they don’t just come in red, yellow, and green – there are also purple and white varieties. Red peppers are the sweetest and the most nutritious because they’re fully ripe. Add them to different dishes or enjoy them raw – they’re both delicious and super healthy! Add the pepper to the vegetables. Stir and fry everything together. 2.5 oz tomato sauce or paste (70 g). Stir well. Add salt. Add a little pepper. Add a pinch of oregano. Mix everything thoroughly. Remove from heat. Now I wet my hands with plain water. And press a deep indentation into each meatball. We should get a deep little bowl shape. Make sure the sides are nice and even. Take another look — it’s pretty easy, anyone can do it. Ground chicken is very pliable and easy to shape. Now fill the meatball “bowls” with the veggie mixture. About 2 large spoonfuls each. I used up all the filling. 3.5 oz soft cheese (100 g). Grate on a fine grater. Today I’m using mozzarella – one of the softest and most loved cheeses. It’s rich in protein and calcium, has less fat than many other cheeses, and pairs perfectly with almost any dish. Its mild flavor and stretchy texture make any meal extra delicious! Get a mixing bowl. Add the grated cheese. 1 bunch of dill. Chop finely. Today I want to talk about dill – an aromatic herb we often underestimate. It’s rich in vitamin C, potassium, and antioxidants, supports digestion, and boosts the immune system. Fun fact: in the past, dill was used as a remedy for insomnia and even as protection against evil spirits. Add the dill to the cheese. 4 tablespoons of the egg mixture. Remember the part we saved at the beginning? 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt. Mix well. A regular fork works best here. This is what the mixture should look like — thick and creamy. Now spoon the cheese topping onto each meatball. Spread it a bit with a fork. So the mixture covers the top completely. Did you know that cooking is good not only for your stomach but also for your brain? Studies show that cooking helps reduce stress, promotes relaxation, and even boosts your mood. While cooking, you engage your memory, focus, and creativity – it’s like a workout for your brain. Preparing meals yourself also makes you more mindful: you become more aware of what you eat and tend to choose healthier ingredients. Plus, cooking together strengthens relationships because it’s quality time spent with loved ones. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 40 minutes. Now check the potatoes — if they’re ready, remove from heat. Get a mixing bowl. Add the cooked potatoes. Mash using a regular potato masher. 3.5 tablespoons butter (50 g). Mash again. About 1/2 cup warm milk (100 ml). Mash one more time. Our buttery mashed potatoes are ready! 1 tomato. Chop finely. Get a salad bowl. Add the tomatoes. 1 cucumber. Slice into half-moons. Add to the tomatoes. 7 oz feta cheese (200 g). Cut into cubes. Add to the veggies. Half of the red onion. Slice into thin half-moons. Add the onion. Some lettuce leaves. 0.7 oz capers (20 g). 3 tablespoons olive oil. A pinch of salt. A pinch of pepper. Mix everything well. Our dish is ready! Look at that beautiful golden crust! And the smell — absolutely mouthwatering! I can’t wait to try it. Friends, thank you so much for watching until the end! 1. I wonder what type of gravy might go well with this dish. A demi glace or bernaise? Mashed w a gravy (just a little) is a must! Thinking smaller portions for a hot appetizer. Nice job. I'll tinker with it to dial it in more.
