Method: 200 F (extreme smoke) till 120F internal then blasted it at 750F for less than 1 min per side.

    This is exactly how I do tri tip on my rectec but I do it at 225. Do you remove the heat deflector when searing? Direct flame searing is amazing. I have the bullseye btw

    Not bad. A bit overcooked for my preference but to each their own. Love tri-tip!
