The Provencal producer’s wines will be served up at the equestrian competition, set to take place at Royal Hospital Chelsea from 8th to 10th August.
Once again, Château d’Estoublon is set to sponsor the Longines Global Champions Tour London (LGCT) 2025, as the event’s official wine partner.
The showjumping competition will take place at Royal Hospital Chelsea from 8th to 10th August, with events including the LGCT Grand Prix of London.
Commenting on the partnership, Vérane Trachino, marketing and communications director at Château d’Estoublon, said: “Roseblood was born from a passion for excellence, a value we share with this remarkable event and it is a privilege to present our wine to Longines Global Champion Tour’s public.
“This initiative is part of our desire to bring a taste of Provence to London, inviting guests to discover our savoir-faire and the unique spirit of our estate. “
Partnership details
He added: “This year, we have also partnered with two outstanding venues to create immersive terrace experiences, transporting guests to Estoublon through our Art de Vivre and our wines.”
Over the three-day equestrian event, guests will be able to enjoy a selection of wines from the French estate, including Roseblood Rosé, Roseblood White and red wine, DPO Les Baux de Provence.
The Provencal producer’s wines will be poured throughout the VIP hospitality suite, Global Champions Lounge, at all event bars and at the riders’ Saturday evening celebration
This sponsorship builds on a series of summer partnerships for the brand. Roseblood d’Estoublon recently launched its stunning summer terraces across Covent Garden at Floral Court, and at St. Martins Lane Hotel.
Asian expansion
In October, Château d’Estoublon completed a drive to bring its Roseblood range to new markets in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, including Taiwan, the Maldives and Australia.
Denis Monticolo, commercial director, at Longines Global Champions Tour said: “We are delighted to return to the historic Royal Hospital Chelsea for the ninth stage of the 2025 Championship and to once again welcome Roseblood d’Estoublon as our Official Wine Partner. It’s a pleasure to celebrate our shared passion for excellence through this continued collaboration.”
In Taiwan, Roseblood’s local import partner No Limit, owned by Natasha Leung, organised a masterclass event in Taipei to launch Roseblood to local trade and influencers. Hosted by Roseblood APAC Brand Ambassador Ian Ford, the event featured the full line up of Roseblood wines.
Rosé’s rocky road
Leung called Roseblood a “pioneer” in Asia when it comes to rosé. She said: “Rosé wine is not yet mainstream in Asia, particularly in Taiwan. As a pioneer, you have to see the potential before they become a reality. With the fundamentals of Château d’Estoublon, drinking Roseblood will be all the rage in Taiwan.”
After more than a decade of almost unimaginable growth, the rosé category slowed globally in 2023. Yet, it still outperformed its peers, with a IWSR report claiming it had “strong appeal in key markets such as the US, the UK and Australia.”
This also holds true for France, the homeland and largest consumer of rosé. While the value of French wine exports slumped -3% last year, according to the French wine and spirits export agency FEVS, exports of rosé from Provence were up 4%.
Provence prevails
“Of course, we lean into Provence,” Francois Matton, CEO of Chateau Minuty in Provence, previously told the drinks business. “Every tasting event and digital campaign radiates the French Riviera charm. Provence is more and more recognised by consumers as the best area to produce rosé due to its soil, climate, the influence of the Mediterranean Sea and years of experience. Côte de Provence rosé is what Champagne is for sparkling wines.”
In May of this year, Provence further cemented its reputation as the world’s premium source for rosé by acquiring Cru status for one of its regions: Sainte-Victoire. Until then, the region was one of five Dénominations Géographiques Complémentaires (DGC) in the Côtes de Provence.
