Valle Nevado, South America’s largest ski resort tucked in the Chilean Andes, is setting the tone for winter 2025 with a packed calendar of events and immersive cultural experiences, solidifying its reputation as more than just a ski destination.
The season, which began with an early opening on June 13, is marked by a reliability of snowfall and a range of exclusive themed weeks. Among the most anticipated is Wine Week, running August 12 to 16. This celebration of Chile’s renowned wine culture invites guests to indulge in tastings, pairing dinners, brand launches, and wine-focused fairs, all set against the dramatic backdrop of the Andean peaks.
The festivities crescendo with Wine & Music on August 16. This open-air gathering, produced in partnership with Wines of Chile, features more than twenty of the nation’s finest wineries, live music, direct sales, and culinary pairings. Both hotel guests and day visitors are welcome to sample selections from various vintners, creating a vibrant après-ski scene unique to Valle Nevado.

Wine Fest returns to Valle Nevado from Tuesday, August 12, to Saturday, August 16, at the Hotel Tres Puntas Event Hall from 5:30 p.m. Guests can sample top Chilean wines, connect directly with winemakers, and unwind in a lively, relaxed mountain setting, making it a perfect après-ski gathering that captures Valle Nevado’s unique spirit.

Later in the season, Wellness Week (September 10–13) offers a retreat for both body and mind, with yoga, dance therapy, and outdoor meditation designed to foster relaxation amid the Andes’ natural grandeur.
Beyond its expansive ski terrain and upgraded on-mountain infrastructure, Valle Nevado is distinguished by its ability to merge outdoor exhilaration with cultural richness. Evening socials, culinary showcases featuring Chilean ingredients, and spa facilities await, all contributing to a deeply immersive mountain escape.
