Today I’m sharing my hack to perfect the Lebanese manousheh zaatar—aka the most iconic flatbread of our culture 🇱🇧🍞💚

Manaeesh is a warm, thin flatbread topped with your favorite flavors—like cheese or zaatar (a legendary blend of thyme, sumac, sesame, citric acid & a hint of salt). Zaatar is a pungent herb that wakes up your whole mouth—ask my childhood friends, or anyone who’s ever had a bite. 😍

Here’s the hack:
💡 Use store-bought tandoori bread
🌿 Mix zaatar with good olive oil
🧀 Or swap it for your fave cheese—either way, it’s fire.

My favorite brands featured today:

    I got hooked on that when I lived in Brooklyn near Atlantic Ave in the Red Hook/Cobble Hill area. There were a whole bunch of stores down by the waterfront. Mmmm.
