Last year I went to this incredible restaurant that I believe was located somewhere near the Javits Center. The restaurant was located near a corner and the cuisine was very seafood/Latin-forward. I have to admit I’m a tres leches hater, but this was by far the best one I’ve ever tried, and at this point, I would give up damn near anything to be able to have it again. I have two photos from that night, but if anyone has any leads on what the name of this restaurant might be, please let me know! And just to preface, the big bold words at the top of the menu in the second photo don’t have anything to do with the restaurant. It was just branding from a company that took us there. I feel like I’ve tried every option to find this restaurant and this is my last resort so any help would be appreciate. Thank you!

Going there in two weeks. Would love to find out the name and go

  2. Both iPhone and android show photo location. Finding the exact address from photo should help you find the restaurant, hope it works!

  3. The only fancier Latin spot I know of around there is the excellent Buena Vista but they serve a different tres leches

From lens, it appears to be KYU on Lafayette

Did you pay with card? It’ll be in your purchase history then

To be honest, I don’t think that’s tres leches, it’s coconut layer cake (also really good) with a scoop of ice cream.

How close to Javits center? Like within one block? Or a walk away or cab ride away?

How is tres leches cafe not mentioned. Shame they closed one location but they have a hold on the leches game

Aaaahhh tres leches needs to be in a coke cooler within also a plastic container. It needs to be 50 percent cream submerging a cake. And a cheap cherry saturated in sugar

Yeah I saw that and was like it’s coconut cake but not the one from Eulalie (the best)

  12. It was limited (available until the end of September last year) coconut tres leches at Hav & Mar as many have said.
