Had first harvest of pepper in one color and the next in a different color. Is this normal?

it might be pollen from another variety causing those phenotypes to be expressed over the plants . I’ve seen fish varigation on jimmy nardellos and shishito that were close to the fish pepper plant.

Green peppers can get purple patches from sun exposure, but as long as they don’t get scalded, it won’t impact the ripe color

Imagining your confusion coming out to see this is hilarious 😂 It’s completely normal though, some varieties do behave like this in that they lose their “tan” when they ripen. Looks quite sick at this stage, the contrast is aesthetic af imo 👌
