All those peppers turned into one somewhat filled gallon bag of powder. But hey, it’s hot!

Because there are 8 different pepper types in this powder all ranging in different colors, I’m calling this stuff “Painbow Powder”. It hurts.

Might have to steal that name you got there 😏

What did you use to turn them into powder, a mortar & pestle?

I stop at the flake stage. But exact same process. Slice, dehydrated, break down, done.

“You could be a rainbow and not a painbow.”

I live in a studio and I have some superhots coming in. How do I safely dehydrate?

Do you dehydrate outdoors? I’ve heard it’s a bad idea indoors to do hot peppers. Or maybe they used the oven to dry them I can’t recall for sure.

I made three different blends: Hot Hatch (mostly Miss Junies by weight, some hotter varieties, a couple Douglahs), Don’t (all Douglahs), and Why (all Carolina Reapers), same process as you.
