Argentina’s largest online wine sales event Cyber Wine kicked off last Tuesday, offering discounts and promotions from top-tier winemakers, as well as expert advice and an AI sommelier consultant
Supported by major wine associations like Wines of Argentina (WofA), Argentine Winemaking Corporation (COVIAR), the Mendoza Winemaking Fund and Wineries of Argentina, the event aims to expand consumers’ wine offers and strengthen the wineries online sales, while also promoting Argentine wine.
Through the Cyber Wine platform, wineries offer special deals, benefits and discounts of up to 50%, as well as several payment options and wine tips from local experts. Argentine credit card holders can also choose to pay in installments. Promotions include discounts on second and third items, special gifts and exclusive benefits.
The platform also allows customers to search by region, variety, and winemaking styles, as well as browsing a winery’s entire portfolio. It also provides direct access to exclusive products from wineries through their own online stores, ranging from boutique establishments to iconic labels and limited-edition, premium wines.
Several dozen wineries are participating, including Grupo Peñaflor (owners of Trapiche en El Esteco, among others), Susana Balbo, Colomé, Durigutti Family Winemakers, Norton, Escorihuela, Luigi Bosca, Penedo Borges, and Viña Las Perdices.
Users can subscribe for free on the CyberWine website and can receive news via email or WhatsApp through a digital sommelier called DionisIA. Notifications will reportedly offer massive, limited-time offers, according to the organization.
