Looks like something you found in Jeffery dahmers fridge.

I thought this was /r/shittyaquariums for a second.

Anything that is above the meat is wasted. And you don’t even need to fully cover the meat if you place some cling wrap directly on top touching the meat and some of the marinade.

I’d use it. I have a 5 gallon bucket that I call my Bird Bucket for brining chickens.

I like this idea OP, thank you.

Sure, you can use a ziplock bag but what if it ruptures?

    Shit happens…..

You should not be posting anything in this sub, bud.

Sure use the tea jug… you don’t have to use actual tea.

*mommy that was good tea, can I have some more*

*We don’t have any tea, baby. What are you talking about?*

*It was in the fridge. The bags were inside and the jug was really heavy*

    *😳*

I’ll stick with something disposable or something that you can effectively clean.

Looks like chicken in green tea 🤢

  11. I meant brine! I love to put it in here so I can pour the brine down the drain and not have to use a tone of plastic bags. I use this jug for nothing but brining. It’s really great for spatchcock chicken

This looks like a “how long does it take oysters to filter water?” experiment.

  13. I am more of a plastic freezer bag ziploc guy myself, but you do you. I do not kink shame

    Why? Those are for beverages.

Why not just in a container with a lid? What advantage does that particular container have over a ziplock or any other container?

That made me thirsty for some tea until it soaked in. No pun intended.

I hope you’re not using that cheap plastic for iced tea again after?

I thought this was r/tea for a second and those were a bunch of tea bags lol

  18. im going to go ahead and assume that OP proceeds to throw this in the dishwasher then make tea afterwards that most would describe as ‘garlic and onion’ flavored

Too porous for that, glass or stainless bowl and plastic wrap does the job easily.
