Comment “Recipe” for my MIL’s Moroccan Lamb Couscous! ❤️

This is the dish I had, first night in Morocco, on my honeymoon in 1972. My mother-in-law (MIL) was born in Morocco, and she taught me this dish many years ago! It’s truly a treasured recipe! ❤️

This is the dish that I had with my husband the first night we arrived on our honeymoon in Morocco. I want to show you how it’s served. Okay. So, you steam the couscous. It’s very simple. Very, very simple. You steam it. You put it in the dish. Okay. And then, of course, you’re going to put the cabbage and all the vegetables. There’s turnups, there’s chickpeas, there’s carrots. Oh, there’s peppers. There’s so many vegetables. It’s a delicious stew that you can never ever ever forget. The flavor is amazing. We’re going to put the lamb on top. Okay, it’s a one one pot dish. And then you pour the juice over it from the savory meal that you made. And here it is. Comment the word recipe. I am so happy to share this with you. Your family is going to love it. This is a dish to remember. It doesn’t have to be for special occasions, but it is something that’s very special to me and I want it to be special to you. Enjoy. Bonapati from my heart to your plate.
