We had this wine on our honeymoon in France and are looking to find anything similar, ideally that we can purchase in the U.S.

TIA!!

Notes of honey and stone fruit. Had it in the Provence region of France.

Never had a white Mondeuse – always had it as a red. Worth seeking out all the Savoie whites, they’re absolutely delicious and a steal for the price. I find them at most specialty / local wine shops, but not common at big box retailers.

I’m most partial to Jacquère but also love Altesse. Haven’t had an amazing Chasselas from there but I’m sure they’re out there. They grow a few other grapes (Grignet and Roussane) too.

    Glad you enjoyed!

Good luck…..Savoie is a small region that already has limited exports to US. Most monduse you’ll see will be red as well. As someone else mentioned though, other Savoie whites are worth seeking out. Look for Jaquere, Altesse, or even a chasselas from Switzerland.

This is a pretty unique region and wine. You may not find anything like it. Just get it when you can and enjoy it when you do.
