I got lucky at the PDX expo today. Got 12 bottles of various sauces from Mr Ed Curries tables. Only $30. Crazy deal

I also got the Heatley’s Pizza Splash in my haul! Not very spicy, but had a really good flavor.
Down To Ferment had a long line. I wanted to try their corn hub. Alas.
However, Savir had a really good Elote Loco Fire Edition, and I got that, along with their Sassy Texan.
Also snagged a bottle of Funky’s Pieno Di Stelle.

Watching everyone puking after the reaper eating competition was interesting. They all ate like 5 to 10 reapers and then just stood there for 60 seconds and then they were released back stage. After it was over most of the crowd just walked over and watched them all go nuts back stage. I was watching them just gobbling reapers and like, this is bad, why would they let them do this? Mind you, the guy that created the reaper was there feeding them, so they definitely had to be top shelf crop. Sure enough you round the corner and they’re all in pure hell 15 minutes later. I hope they have a decent rest tonight 🥵

PDX Hot Sauce Fest rules. I went in 2019 and took home a ton of sauces. Smokin’ Ed was walking around with a dropper of some wild concoction and giving a dab to anyone crazy enough to try it. There was a trail of people crying and puking wherever he walked.
