Was playing around with dough earlier and made these little fettuccini knots. Did I stumble upon an extant pasta shape or is this a blasphemy on the medium?

Sauce is the quick vodka sauce from the side of the delallo tube, plus some kalmatas. Sauce a little on the rich side and seems geared towards ensuring you use up as much tomato paste as possible.

    This is probably one of the ways all those nearly thousand different shapes of pasta got created.

    I think it looks nice, my only concern is does the thicker middle part gets cooked evenly compared to the edges?

    That’s such a great idea. Looks like each bundle can pick up a lot of sauce and also eat it faster, or at least I would, because it looks amazing.
