Dinners for two people. I usually use any of the 'easy butter chicken' recipes found online and to keep it simple. It's a great one pan meal and the rice was done in the rice cooker with herbs and chicken bone broth.

Please post the recipe that you used!

We recently added a rule (#6) requiring either a recipe or list of ingredients, since it is so often requested. If you wouldn’t mind adding that we’d appreciate it!

I would love to see the recipe you used. There are so many online, it is nice to have one someone has actually tried and would recommend.

I was notified that I have to include a recipe…

Rice: Rinse 2 cups of basmati rice. Place rice in rice cooker with 3 cups of chicken bone broth and whatever fresh or dried herbs you want. Let it cook.

Chicken: I cut the entire package of boneless skinless Sam’s club chicken breasts and mixed it in a large bowl with their butter chicken seasoning until the chicken was completely coated and set it aside. In a pan I melted a stick of real butter and then cooked minced yellow onion, minced ginger, and minced garlic. I don’t measure, so refer to any ‘easy butter chicken’ recipes you find online. I added the chicken and cooked it until it was done. I put in a small can of tomato paste and mixed it with the chicken along with the desired amount of heavy cream. My family likes more than recipes usually call for.

This makes me so jealous. There is an Indian place about a 40 min drive that makes the most amazing Butter Chicken. My mom doesn’t really like Indian food but I’ve been trying to convince her to go because she’d love this with garlic naan. And now I’m starving for that lol.

I just made a vegetarian version of this yesterday for my meal prep! I used giant corona beans in place of the chicken.

This looks delicious. How long do you typically spend prepping meals each week?

Thanks for reminding me that I *still* need to get butter chicken into my rotation.
