Ever since it first opened in Yaletown back in 2016, Social Corner has become a staple in the Vancouver dining scene. Known for its standout space, as well as its menu featuring a fusion of Italian and Spanish offerings (including one of the most popular burgers in the city), it has become a must-visit.
That’s why many (including ourselves) were excited when we learned that Social Corner would be opening its second location in Coal Harbour this September, a neighbourhood that has been popping off with new and highly anticipated restaurants.
Brought to us by the Per Se Hospitality Group, Social Corner Coal Harbour has plenty to look forward to. From its multiple patios to housing the largest Roman-style pizza oven in all of Canada, we’ve got all the details on this new location ahead of its grand opening this September.
Social Corner Coal Harbour
Just a quick walk from the Vancouver Convention Centre is the new Social Corner. Located inside the Guinness Tower along West Hastings Street, it’s hard to miss this new spot with its multiple statues lining the sidewalk.

Venturing inside, you’ll find plenty of luxurious materials and heritage details. Specifically, right at the entrance is a salvaged and refurbished hostess stand (which was originally a 130-year-old General Electric stand-up radio).
The rest of the 290-seat restaurant features walnut millwork and copper countertops. Plus, Social Corner Coal Harbour is also home to a Murano glass chandelier in its private dining room.
Folks who enjoy a little patio moment are in luck, because this location features two distinct patios. The first of these is a seasonal Mediterranean-style patio with a custom-built seven-tonne limestone fountain, while the second is a 120-seat enclosed year-round area with a 72-inch fireplace.

As for the menu, you’ll find some more ocean-forward offerings, including a selection of fresh oysters, which are exclusive to this location.

Additionally, Social Corner Coal Harbour will feature the largest Roman-style pizza oven in Canada (yes, you read that right). Expect the same top-tier pizzas made with high-quality ingredients that you’ve grown to love from the brand.

But don’t worry, you’ll still be able to find plenty of your Social Corner faves here as well, including its much-loved burger.
Ciclo Café and Cocktail Bar (plus gelato)
Social Corner isn’t the only exciting concept from the Per Se Hospitality Group coming to Coal Harbour. Just steps away from Social Corner Coal Harbour will be a new Ciclo Café location at 1020 W. Cordova St.
Ciclo Espresso (Marco Ovies/Dished)
If the name sounds familiar, you may have come across it at Social Corner’s Yaletown location or seen its spot outside of Acquafarina, where it started serving its signature Panino Porta alongside espresso and baked goods.
The handheld, which translates to “wallet sandwich” in English (a reference to how it’s folded), is made with a 72-hour fermented sourdough baked in-house and stuffed with tasty imported ingredients.

While you’ll be able to sit back and enjoy a nice espresso, baked good, and Panino Porta at this location, it will also be offering a full cocktail program where you’ll be able to enjoy signature drinks like the Ciclo Espresso Martini. Plus, there will be a selection of handcrafted gelato flavours to enjoy.
Negroni de la Costa (Marco Ovies/Dished)
Both Social Corner and Ciclo Espresso Coal Harbour will open their doors on Sept. 3, 2025.
