What’s the current Grow a Garden update?

The current Grow a Garden update is Kitchen Storm, which launched on Saturday, August 9, 2025. This fresh update introduces and expansion to the Grow a Garden Cooking event, introducing the following new recipes:

Grow a Garden smoothie
Grow a Garden candy apple
Grow a Garden sweet tea
Grow a Garden porridge
Grow a Garden spaghetti

This expansion also introduces the new Rat Connoisseur event NPC, who’s seeking mutated dishes. If you submit mutated meals to him, he’ll present you with three rewards and allow you to choose one. Alongside this rad rodent, the update also adds the recipe book where you can track every dish you’ve made so far, the event-exclusive kitchen storm weather event, cooking quality-of-life improvements, and the new pet loadout feature, which allows you to save and swap between three custom pet loadouts.

What’s the next Grow a Garden update?

Developer Garden Game hasn’t announced the next Grow a Garden update yet, but we know that it’s due to go live on Saturday, August 16, 2025. We also know that it’s due to introduce a new Grow a Garden event following the conclusion of the Cooking Event, and will likely introduce new limited eggs, pets, seeds, weather events, and more.
