Great variety of colours and shapes. The board looks neat, tidy and well-planned. Knife cuts are nice and uniform.

Here are a few things I could suggest to elevate it to a more luxe feeling board.

    – The most important thing with charcuterie boards, is crackers should always be served on a separate board, box, tray, or basket. When reaching for a cracker, either as a base for charcuterie or to eat alone, people always want to grab a fresh, dry, unsoiled cracker or bread. After 20 minutes on a board like this, many of the crackers will get moist and gross and go to waste.

    – Ditch the baby carrots and raw broccoli and put more types of colourful fruit like melon, peaches, cherries, or kiwi. Fruits are prettier than veggies and IMO they go better with meats and cheese.

    – If you must put cucumbers, do smaller clusters or “stripes” of them all throughout the board, instead of one giant cucumber cluster.

    – Remove the lids of the plastic containers for photos if you can

    – Cut the strawberries in half and they look way more appealing and elegant when you cluster a few halved strawberries together.

    – Look for the smooth side of the brie and place that face up, and it’s also nice if you turn each wedge of brie on its side so it makes more of a flower petal pattern.

Great job if you’re just starting out at this!

That looks fabulous! Really eye catching and luxurious!

  5. It could use more meat. Proscuitto, speck, mortadella or fresh ham would all be good choices. Carb that is not crackers. Italian bread or pita would be nice.
