You didn’t know you needed this vibrant, garlic-kissed oil with a whisper of heat in your life, but it’ll become a kitchen staple.
Drizzle it over pasta, dunk your crusty bread, or elevate any protein (fish, chicken, steak… you do you).
Fresh basil blended with rich olive oil creates that restaurant-worthy finish instantly.

Here’s a simple fiveingredient sauce that literally takes 5 minutes to make. This basil oil is something that you didn’t know you needed in your life because it’s great on just about everything. You can use it to dip bread in, use it on pastas, and it goes great on top of any protein. Shrimp, chicken, steak, whatever. It’s made from fresh basil, fresh garlic, olive oil, a little bit of salt, and some crushed red pepper for a little bit of heat. Add a little bit of water to get it all blended up. Use it right away or store it in the fridge for a couple of days to intensify the flavors. I put the full recipe down in the description. Be sure to like and subscribe for more easy sauce recipes.

Next time, blanch your basil in some hot water and then into cold water. It will give your oil the most beautiful green color.
