Im dog sitting at my parents place for a few weeks while they are on vacation. I have been making grilled cheeses sandwiches with tomato soup because it’s a fun and easy dinner. I figured out that sourdough is the best bread for a grilled cheese, and I have also been adding some fun stuff to them like avocado and kimchi. If you guys have any other fun recommendations on what else I can add, I’d love to hear them.

A bunch of WHAT sandwiches🤨🤨🤨
I usually shred some Parmesan cheese on the outside of each side before placing on cast iron pan. The edges brown up such that it is easy to know when to flip. I generally turn the burner off about 2 minutes less on side two and then toss the whole cast iron w/ sandwich into a 350 oven for a few minutes. For added points, while building the interior I sprinkle those bacon bits from Costco between the layers of cheese.
You thought you were slick starting with real grilled cheese then sliding in melt content. Youre not. 👺
1 grilled cheese and a bunch of melts
Think more posts are gonna have to come with a pet tax
Bro why is there a dog melt
Grilled cheese with ANY flavor jam is amazing
If you can, chop & sauté your kimchi with or without sesame oil in a pan before adding it to a melt 😉 it cuts some of the sharpness a bit so imo it blends better with the cheeses
What type of Dave’s Bread did you use? First picture looks like normal bread and not Dave’s. Curious since I just started eating his stuff. I like the regular looking bread size so it fits in my lunch box better.
what brand of american cheese is that goddamn

I’ve never cared for tomato soup (just personal preference). I like chicken noodle soup or vegetable beef soup for the umami. Usually add A1 and some soy sauce to the vegetable beef soup.
I’m seeing one grilled cheese and a few melts
