Now, I might not be able to fly planes, fix cars, or solve any of the world’s problems, but one thing I can do is make a damn good sandwich. And this one here begins with the sauce. I fry up some shallots and garlic in extra virgin olive oil. I add my tomato puree and delaze with some vodka. Swirl in the cream, add some butter, season generously with salt and pepper. Give this a good mix. And then add your basil. And just like that, you’ve got a bold, silky vodka sauce. Now, the cutlet. chicken pounded thin, breaded, and shallow fried in extra virgin olive oil until golden and crisp. Once your chicken’s cooked, smack on some smoked proolone and toast that bad boy. This sandwich is crunchy, creamy, and absolutely ridiculous, so save this one cuz you’re probably going to want to make it.

  1. Beautiful sarnie! Also, I think it would be great if you told us your top 5 or top 10 dips even if the series finished early.

  2. If you could fly a plane, fix a car and solve at least one of the world's problems, you probably wouldn't be able to make this sandwich. Stick with the sandwiches and dips. Come to think of it, one of your 100 in 100 days dips might go well here, if you are replacing the vodka sauce.
    But which one 🤔
