Review: went together easy enough. Some holes not quite right and some pieces a little scratched out of the box. I’d expect that for a ~ $300 dollar table when everything else on the market is a thousand and up.

It doesn’t quite fit.

There’s supposed to be a black bar that runs across the face of the KJ on the front side.

The air hinge on the back of the KJ C2 doesn’t let the grill sit far enough back to make room for the front bracing bar.

I have a few of the ceramic on the way to raise the grill an inch or so from the platform. We will see if that is enough to get the air hinge in there, but I doubt it will since I measured a need for 1.75 inches of height.

If the feet don’t give me 1.75 inches, I’ll have to get some concrete pavers to put on the bottom to further raise the grill level.

Also out for review – just how weather proof is the closed space, and is the grill high enough to allow the Joetisserie to operate.

The feet only get you 3/4″ IRRC. Cheap pavers will do the job, of course. Pay a visit to a countertop outfit and ask for some sink cutouts or see what they’d charge for a stack of lovely guartz or marble to sit the Joe up about two and a half full inches so everything clears and you can put in the front bar. While you’re at it, raise the other grill up out of that Harbor Freight dolly. (I’ve got one of those holding my drill press.)

Weather? You’ll want at least vinyl or canvas rain covers for the stuff that doesn’t want to be wet. Me, I’d get full covers for both carts. Joetisserie motor hangs a good 2″down from the ring.

I can’t quite tell from the picture, but maybe the rear bar could be lowered by drilling new holes right where you want them and using a through – machine screw, and nut.

What size GDLF table did you purchase as I went back and forth on L or XL, I went with the XL for my Big Joe. I also purchased some grill feet, which might give you the clearance needed for hinge? You can do search on Amazon for them.

Do I see in your pics the right hand side cabinet has a hole in the back? I’m looking for a table that I could potentially fit a very small gas tabletop grill on for searing, and would hope I could fit gas into that cabinet and put the tabletop on top.
